Bio - Christopher Strain, NP
A native of the North Idaho Panhandle, Chris grew up in the hills of Rathdrum...
…where he learned to farm, raise animals, hunt, fish, and do all-things outdoors. After working for his dad’s construction company, he embarked on a career in nursing and spent twelve years in critical care medicine as an ICU and triage nurse before getting his Family Nurse Practitioner degree to work in primary care. He takes pride in his faith, his family, and his work. Medicine is more than just a job for him, it’s a calling where he can care for people in the image of Christ Jesus Our Lord.
Chris is the owner and operator of JMJ Family Health. He specializes in both the medical and non-medical management of chronic diseases, working to find well-researched natural approaches as far as possible. Additionally, he is passionate about mental health and helping patients with diet and lifestyle adjustments for healthy weight management and quality of life along the lifespan.
